Where the magic is happening

Inverarity gallery

Solstice Exhibition

1st June - 31st July 2025

I am delighted to be invited to be a part of an international group exhibition

with the wonderful Inverarity Gallery.

This truly wonderful gallery specialises in narrative fine art and storytelling.

Each exhibition is carefully curated exploring themes and threads which weave magical tales and deeper contemplative journey.

'Hedge between the worlds' A midsummer moment caught between waking and dreaming - a Dormouse stirs in the hush of the hedge, where the worlds brush close.

My First Picture Book

out now

Not all stories from the woods are about moss and midsummer.

Some are about people or bears - about the tangled paths they walk, and how love can still find its way through. I was honoured to illustrate this book, created to support families in speaking gently and truthfully about the past. Its a quiet offering of compassion, reminding us that, like the roots beneath the burrow, there is more to each life that what is seen on the surface.

Charmstone -

From the misty edge of the woodland a story unfolds. This charm of heart and charm of mind binds spell and play in a peculiar magic.

Once a treasured amulet of John Dee - advisor and magician to Queen Elizabeth I, - amulets like this have historically been used to bless water.

Spring Fling Open Studios

One of my favourite events of the year - the chance to share my home studio with people. The studio is nestled in a cottage garden surrounded by woodland. It is a special little place and an inspiration for many a painting.
